BST BAT-110 is a modular battery system for small satellites. This is the successor to the proven flight-proven battery pack developed for the Kentridge-1 satellite. It is based on the Li-Fe cell. BST's Li-Fe battery technology offers 10 times the cycle of Li-Io or Li-Po batteries, significantly reducing the risk. The battery block is protected from overcharging (non-destructive), resistant to deep discharge (non-destructive), and provides cell balancing. It has a proven track record in space and has a design life of 5 years at LEO. The BAT-110 consists of three parallel strings, each with a nominal capacity of 2.5 Ah. The electrical interface is a 15-pin D-SUB female connector.
